What about USB-C instead of micro-usb?

Found this to consider replacing/upgrading my blink1s but am surprised that the connectors are all micro-usb? I’m assuming there is some logical reason, other than cost, for this vs usb-c?

I will admit to not being a USB-C expert, but from what I have seen, the Tiny85 processor used on these devices is not going to be capable of handling USB-C. Too much handshaking and too high a clock rate. There would need to be a dedicated USB-C chip added, driving up the cost and possibly the size.

Probably for no good reason other than having that type of connector. I don’t think it is necessary or even helpful.
