Hello, can anyone tell me can a blinkstick simply cycle through colours when it has power only? No computer just power from say a powerbank, ie can it act like a mini disco nightlight?

I think I heard someone mention it at some point but as far as I know right now the blinkstick needs to receive orders from a computer over USB.
