Hey Christian and welcome to the forums.
I fear there is no way to get Blinkstick running on Openelec at the moment. Openelec is basicly a readonly OS. In the forums users who want to change something switched to Kodibuntu. Maybe you could give that a try.

I have an Openelec running on a raspberry and did not find a way to get Blinkstick running. What I miss is something like a command-line tool for linux… (@arvydas  )
