In the setup of my blinkstick the only option is RGB which outputs the wrong colours, all the other options are greyed out and not selectable so I can’t select inverse which is needed for the dioder.
Is there anyway I can fix this?

I think you mean a Blinkstick Pro v1.0.
If you work with a windows PC please try this tool to set the mode to 1:

Unpack the ZIP to one folder and start the .exe.
If your blinkstick is recognized, right click in the properties and select Set Mode -> Inverse (1)
