Just downloaded the client and it won’t open in Mojave OSX, anyone else have the same behavior or a workaround?

I’m having trouble with High Sierra connecting to the Blinkstick with Python programs that work on Catalina. The USB device doesn’t show up in “System Report/USB” either.
Anyone else have a problem?
